More than 20 million people have a Clubcard
Tesco shoppers are being urged to prepare themselves for a major change to the supermarket giant's popular Clubcard scheme. The business announced earlier in the year that the Tesco Clubcard app, allowing customers to manage their points and coupons by scanning a digital version of their Clubcard in-store, would be closing down on April 18.
More than 20 million people in the UK have a Tesco Clubcard, which entitles them to obtain reduced prices on designated products and earn points, which they can later redeem as vouchers for in-store purchases. Additionally, Tesco customers can utilise their accumulated points to receive discounts when shopping with one of Tesco's Rewards Partners. Those who choose not to download the new app can still access their points through their online account or by using their physical Clubcards.
