Millions of people shop at Tesco each week
Millions of customers who shop at Tesco are being warned that a popular scheme will come to a close in just under eight weeks' time.
Tesco has run its Saving Stamps initiative for many years. How it works is customers buy "stamps" throughout the year which they can then use to buy food, homeware and other goods from Tesco in December. But the retail giant confirmed earlier this year the scheme is coming to an end. Anyone with stamps has until December 31, 2023, to "spend" them. After this the scheme will be no more. Customers with stamps can also exchange them for a Tesco gift card at all store tills. Tesco has now launched its Clubcard Christmas Savers programme which is similar, but you can also accrue vouchers by using your Clubcard.
