Bargain alert!
A Tesco shopper has walked away from the store with an incredible bargain. Fellow shoppers are now declaring that they will check their receipts to see if such as event is replicated.
Recalling the shopping trip, the poster said that they walked away from the store with six bags of sugar for just 1p each - total bill 6p. Fellow shoppers are now being urged to check what they buy as they could be walking away with a bargain.Explaining, the Tesco shopper, said: "I get a few bargains over my time but I think today's one is the best. 2kg or vending sugar 1p a bag."
The purchaser of the six bag haul continued: "Yep, 1p. There wasn’t a price on it so I asked the lady at the till. She scanned it and said 'well ... it’s a penny'. I said 'OK thanks', went back and cleared the shelf. Only had six bags there but I won’t have to buy sugar for me again this year. Happy days."
