The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) on Monday said the employment rate of its 1.2 million graduates in 2022 reached 84.72%.
Interviewed in a public briefing, TESDA deputy director general Aniceto Bertiz III said based on a study on the employment of their graduates last year, 8 out of 10 of them were able to have jobs or livelihood.
“Nandiyan ang agrikultura, ang construction industry, IT-BPM or digitalizations program na rin ng TESDA, pati na rin ang healthcare, and tourism dahil sa pagbubukas ng ating bansa,” Bertiz said. The unemployment rate dropped to 4.2% in November 2022 from 4.5% in October 2022 and 6.5% in the same month of the prior year.
