Big 12 title game in 2018 was obviously a big deal, but this feels like their most anticipated showdown since 2008? A week ago, I would have taken the Jayhawks a spot or two higher. But the injury and lingering uncertainty around the health of starting quarterbackhas proven to be more than capable, but Daniels provides a different dynamic that elevates the Jayhawks. But all is not lost. The defense is better than it was a year ago — the Texas game notwithstanding — and this team should remain competitive in the coming weeks, regardless of whether it’s Daniels or Bean taking snaps.
