A Texas judge on Tuesday criticized Republicans for opposing the Biden administration’s immigration policies after denouncing perceived efforts to politicize a 12-year-old's alleged murder by two illegal immigrants.
Hidalgo said the suspects did not kill Nungaray because they were immigrants and cautioned people against attributing the crime to President Joe Biden’s policies. She claimed former President Donald Trump previously told Republicans to withdrawal from a deal negotiated by Biden that would have addressed issues at the southern border.
