Hondo native Allora Leonard talks about the ups and downs of 'Songblazers,' which opens Aug. 21 at the Majestic Theatre.
At one point during the first week of rehearsals for “Cirque du Soleil Songblazers ,” Texas singer-songwriter Allora Leonard found herself hanging upside down off the back of a strongman while strumming her guitar. Alas, that did not make it into the show. “It proved to be quite difficult,” she said. “Not to hang off of him, but the process of getting on there was a little interesting. We still get to do some really fun stuff in the show.
