In a SWAC title game rematch, it's a battle between the Tigers. TSU takes on Grambling State on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on ABC13's sister network ESPNU.
The men's basketball team from Texas Southern University will play Grambling State at Bartow Arena on Saturday night in an attempt to win the Southwestern Athletic Conference Tournament.
The encounter between Texas Southern and Grambling is also a rematch of the 2023 SWAC title game, in which TSU prevailed 61-58. TSU's men's team won 72-65 over Alabama A&M on Friday night, and now they're aiming for their eighth championship victory in 11 seasons and their fourth straight NCAA Tournament berth.
ABC13's sister network ESPNU will air the SWAC championship game between TSU and Grambling State at 8:30 p.m.
