TGI Fridays has given its classic smash burger the festive treatment in its Christmas-themed menu.
'Tis the season for festive food and drink , meaning it's practically mandatory to go all-in on pigs in blankets and eggnog from now until the end of December. And if you want to give the classic festive fare a bit of an upgrade, look no further than the Christmas menu that TGI Fridays has just launched.
For mains, you won't go hungry with Santa’s Smashed Burger - two beef patties with all the trimmings , served with a Cajun cheese sauce, mozzarella dippers and cheese doughnuts. For the non-meat eaters out there, the Very Merry Vegan burger will be more than satisfactory with its plant-based patty and vegan cheese. And to finish, few festive flavours go better than chocolate and orange - and TGI Fridays has brought them together with a chocolate brownie served with orange sorbet.
You can get a two-course set menu of an appetiser and a main course for £21.95, with desserts on their own only costing £5. To really get into the festive spirit, £1 of every set menu will be donated to the NSPCC. "TGI’s in Stevenage was amazing… The food were very enjoyable the service was first class too. Would recommend 100%," said one happy customer. Another chimed in: "Amazing staff and overall great atmosphere at the TGI Fridays Newport Road Cardiff. Great service." While a third said: "Went to the resort World location in Birmingham last Thursday and the entire visit was awesome. Great service from start to finish.
