Her son gave a statement saying the last time he spoke to his mother, she said she had met a high-flying lawyer who worked cases all over the country and planned to move him into her home. The 51-year-old maid was found, bound with a phone charger and died from suffocation with cops finding Pumpuang's fingerprints and documents relating to his car at the scene.
He is then believed to have fled from a window at the back of the property before the body was found later when neighbours checked again.Thailand's corrections department said it was urgently reviewing the sentence reduction policies but also said it was operating at three times capacity with 370,000 inmates.
Rasmee's devastated cousin Laddaporn Arjsak, 28, said: ''My cousin loved him and she told me that they were getting married on Sunday. Instead she is dead. I want the police to find him so we know what happened. The hunt takes places just months after Pumpuang was deemed an "excellent prisoner" and released after serving just a fraction of his sentence.Thai prisons are stretched the max, currently housing three times the inmates they have the capacity for.
