A Thai soldier has gone on a shooting rampage in the north east of the country, killing at least 12 people, police have said.
The soldier opened fire at different locations in the city, which is more than 250km from Bangkok, policeThey added that he remains close to a shopping centre and had not yet been apprehended.
A police officer said the suspect had been involved in an argument about a land deal and shot two people who were involved, another soldier and a woman.The man then took a gun from the base where he is stationed outside the city and drove to the shopping centre, shooting at people along the way.
