Wife of Wilikeaks founder Julian, Stella Assange has celebrated her husband’s release from UK prison after concluding negotiations with the United States Justice Department.
Stella Assange , wife of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange , has celebrated news of her husband’s plea deal with US prosecutors as the 53-year-old has been freed from prison in London.
“Words cannot express our immense gratitude to you – yes you, who have all mobilised for years and years to make this come true. Thank you,” Ms Assange wrote in a post. Ms Assange had worked as a human rights defender and lawyer in East Timor and Botswana before joining Assange’s legal team in London.
