For this “live documentary,” filmmaker Spike Jonze filmed Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz as they told a crowd at Brooklyn’s Kings Theater about their rise to stardom. Complete with old footage, photos, and stories from the group’s decades-long career, the doc captures just how influential the Beasties have been since they started playing music together as kids in New York City in the late ’70s and early ’80s.
