Liam Fosbrook, 29, confronted and knifed 35 year-old Dylan Towers 'at least three times' after he arrived uninvited at the home of his sister Tara in Brinnington, Stockport in December 2021. Fosbrook was cleared of murder by a jury last summer but they couldn't reach a verdict on an alternative count of manslaughter. However following a second trial which began in February, he was last month convicted of that charge.
She and David Morris had met on Plenty of Fish in 2016, the crown court heard, and their relationship quickly became 'intensely sexual.' None of the criminal charges were linked to Morris' employment or the school, however she did take photographs of pupils and send them to her partner. Police said the images were not indecent, or criminal in nature, and there was 'no evidence that any of the children were harmed.'
But when law enforcement cracked the heavily encrypted communications network, detectives found a wealth of evidence to prove that Alam had been involved in crime. The judge said he was committing crime 'at a very high level indeed'. Tufail's son, now 23, is due to be sentenced at a later date. The pair lived on Kenmore Road in Northenden. Asim outwardly appeared to be a ‘profitable businessman’ who enjoyed ‘the trappings of wealth’, but the true source of his wealth was revealed by law enforcement hacking of the EncroChat communications network.
A home removal driver was stopped by UK Border Force officials with £2.5 million worth of cocaine stuffed inside a piano. Saleem Chaudhri, 46, owned a unit at the Old Fire Station in Balckburn which was raided by officers on May 3, 2023. Police uncovered 217 kilos of cocaine, of which some were hidden in Gouda cheese while some was hidden in black bin bags.
Stephenson, of no fixed abode, was later charged and found guilty of kidnap, theft of motor vehicle, dangerous driving and driving without a licence, police said. The 51-year-old of no fixed abode, was jailed for eight years and six months. Almost two years later, on January 15 of last year, Smith struck again. While awaiting his court appearance for the first attack, police were called to a house in Atherton, where a woman reported she had been assaulted.
A killer attacked a man with ‘brutal ferocity’ then ‘dumped’ his victim in an alleyway and tried to blame it on his own girlfriend. Dean Hughes has been handed a life sentence for the murder of Shane Maloney. A man has been jailed for horrific crimes against two children. Graham Young, 63, groomed them and then incited them to engage in sexual activity.

A corrupt police officer with a gambling addiction abused his position to pass confidential information about crash victims to a friend. PC Akeel Kadir, also shared images of crime suspects and details of people under investigation for sex offences. He was thrown onto the bonnet and fell to the ground shortly after. ‘He could have killed me,” the victim later said in a statement.
