Dozens of roads in the county will be monitored this month
Lancashire's road safety partnership has published the list of speeding hotspots where mobile speed cameras are set to be positioned this month. The partnership warns that safety camera enforcement vehicles can visit any site at any time and that, for operational reasons, the list is subject to change.
Throughout November dozens of roads in the county will be monitored in a bid to catch out rule-breaking motorists. Drivers who are speeding could be at risk of getting a fine or points on their licence. Locations on this month's list include areas of Chorley, Preston, Burnley and Rawtenstall. Speed management systems will also be in place on several motorways in Lancashire including the M65, M6, M61 and the M55.
