Essentially a rags-to-riches tale about how one man's life got twisted upside down after a couple of guys who were up to no good starting causing trouble in his Philly neighbourhood. Will Smith's character got in one little fight and his mom got scared and so he moved with his aunty and his uncle to a town called Bel Air. Of course that isn't the whole story, the six years were punctuated with stuff like dice in a mirror and Carlton's most excellent dancing.
