Jenell and Paul Milsted have been forced out of their luxury penthouse in Cronulla because of ongoing water leaks.

It was meant to be a luxurious home with priceless views of the beach and ocean where Jenell and Paul Milsted would enjoy their retirement years with family and friends.

Iridium Developments director Roy Manassen said the company was “currently co-operating fully” with Project Intervene and stood by the quality of the Wavelength complex.“We disagree that there are any serious defects that have prevented some people from moving in,” he said. A 2022 NSW parliamentary report into building standards said the construction industry was still failing to provide safe, reliable and defect-free homes three years after serious defects were found in the Opal Towers and Mascot Towers developments.

Milsted said they continued to pay thousands of dollars in building levies for an apartment they cannot live in. Manassen said unsold apartments were owned by Iridium, which will remain the case for the foreseeable future.
