, we had a mostly naked Qimir relaying at least part of his history to Osha, revealing old lightsaber scars on his back and admitting he was indeed a Jedi in the past and was “thrown away” like her. They’re currently on an “unknown planet” but we believe that things are heading in a very specific direction in particular regards to Qimir’s former, and possibly current masters.
The most obvious place this all seems to be leading is a reveal that Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh was Qimir’s former master. The idea is that the lightsaber scars on his back look likes like normal slashes or stabs or something a…whip lightsaber might make, which we saw revealed for the first time last night.
This idea may dip into even more EU content. Namely, the “Unknown Planet” that Qimir and Osha are on may in fact be“Bal'demnic was an ocean planet adorned with rocky tropical islands in the Bak'rofsen system of the Auril sector, located within the Outer Rim Territories.
The Acolyte has not really hidden its twists to this point. Headland said that she knew that people would probably guess the Stranger was Qimir, but it’s aboutthings are revealed rather than tricking or surprising people. So, in that sense, we may see that with the Vernestra and Tenebrous reveals to come. We’ll know more soon.Our community is about connecting people through open and thoughtful conversations.
