Scales is desperate to team up with his Ireland team-mate again at Parkhead next season.
Liam Scales reckons "a lot of things have to go right" for Adam Idah to return to Celtic on a permanent deal, reports Paul O’Hehir from Portugal.
Scales said of Idah: “100% I want him to stay. Every Celtic fan and everyone at the club would love to have him back. He was outstanding but a lot of things have to go right for that to happen but hopefully it will.” And Scales hailed Idah for winning over the critics who doubted his ability when he first made the January switch to Parkhead. “That's the case with Celtic fans a lot of the time, it doesn't reflect on Adam at all.
Scales added: “The cup final wasn't the most entertaining game but to win in the last minute was brilliant. The celebrations in the stadium were amazing.”
