A release date for The Apprentice, which stars Sebastian Stan as a younger Donald Trump, has been set by Briarcliff Entertainment.
Billionaire Dan Snyder notably donated an unspecified amount of money via his Kinematics company under the assumption that The Apprentice would be a positive portrayal of Trump. Snyder was reportedly furious after seeing the movie and tried to block its release.
Trump’s lawyers also sent a cease and desist letter to the producers of The Apprentice in May 2024 in an attempt to stop its release.
