Summary The Ark season 2 premieres on July 17 and picks up directly after the explosion that left half of the main cast unaccounted for. Shortly after Trust's device successfully rotates Proxima B, the crew realizes that part of the planet is covered in methane and will detonate once exposed to the sun. Ark One is badly damaged by the blast, making it nearly impossible for the ship to survive another journey through space.
