While it wouldn't be outside a world of pure imagination to see how the plotlines of Willy Wonka the maniacal candy maker and Carmy the troubled and hotheaded chef could crossover, the desire for a themed episode comes from fans who have been left shocked by Jeremy's resemblance to Gene Wilder. For years, 33-year-old Jeremy has been forced to deny he's related to the late Oscar nominee, with fake articles circulating naming him as Gene's grandson.
Jeremy was asked about his lookalike in a separate chat with GQ, saying he would 'take a comparison any day.' However, fans have called on Jeremy to star as the late actor in a biopic of his life should the opportunity arise.
