Claire Danes has officially signed on for the leading role in Netflix's upcoming limited drama titled, The Beast in Me.
showrunner Howard Gordon, who is also set to showrun the upcoming mystery thriller drama. For her performance as CIA agent Carrie Mathison in Homeland, Danes received two Emmys and two Golden Globes for Best Actress.“Since the tragic death of her young son, acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs has receded from public life, unable to write, a ghost of her former self,” reads the synopsis.
The Beast in Me is created, written and executive produced by Gabe Rotter. In addition to starring, Danes is also serving as an executive producer alongside Jodie Foster, Gordon, Daniel Pearle, Conan O’Brien, Jeff Ross, and David Kissinger.
