: we’ve all had life plans chewed up, spat out and stamped on over the past few months. But spare a thought for the poor school-leavers who thought they had three years of drunken debauchery at university ahead of them .
Hopefully they still do, although Cambridge University has already announced courses will be online for the next academic year and the likelihood of any Freshers’ Weeks taking place in September has been thrown into doubt. But missing this rite of passage is a travesty - having a one-night-stand and throwing up on your laptop won’t be half as fun at home in between online lectures.
