Auston Trusty has proved his worth in recent weeks with his USA colleague injured but his return has thrown up a big question

Cameron Carter-Vickers made his latest injury return as Celtic ran out comfortable winners at Motherwell - but there's one 'question mark' over who will stand beside him.

Going forward the question will be who partners Carter-Vickers at centre-half with Valle impressing on the left in the absence of Greg Taylor - who was also fit enough for the bench. As the duo continue to ramp up their fitness the big question will edge closer for Rodgers but Hoops legend Pat Bonner has only one answer.

He added: “Listen, I would go with him . I think he’s done exceptionally well, and Trusty will just have to wait if Carter-Vickers goes automatically into the team, but Trusty did well in midweek because it was a different type of game. They are set to do it all again at the national stadium this weekend with a spot in the final up for grabs. And ahead of the showdown the match officials for the game have been revealed.
