The 2024 outlooks for a number of players took a notable turn during the league’s three-day extravaganza.
The NFL draft has come and gone, and all that’s left is to wait 18 weeks or so for the season to actually begin. In the meantime, there are plenty of fantasy drafts to enter , and with that in mind, here are some winners and losers from the three-day extravaganza we just enjoyed.
Note that this analysis has a redraft frame, as opposed to dynasty, so we’ll be mostly interested here in the 2024 outlooks for these players.Normally, teams that get the No. 1 pick are, shall we say, terrible. So when they draft a quarterback first overall, he usually gets tossed into a poor situation, as was the case with Bryce Young last year.
Of course, the team can and likely will run a lot of two-TE sets, but another issue for Bowers is the quality of quarterbacking he’ll get from Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell. In the right situation, Bowers might have pushed for top-five consideration at his position, but now top-12 could be best for which we can hope.Undersized and not particularly athletic , Williams was able to burst into fantasy prominence by dominating the Rams’ backfield workload.
