The Boys spinoff show Gen V looks to uphold the violent yet comical world that fans have fallen in love with. The new show stars Lizzie Broadway, Jaz Sinclair, Marco Pigossi, Jensen Ackles, and Chance Perdomo.
Gen V, a spinoff of the Amazon Prime Video satirical superhero series The Boys, will return for a second season.
'From our first conversation with showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, along with Eric Kripke, Evan Goldberg, and Seth Rogen, we knew Gen V would push the boundaries,' the executive noted. He added that fans loved the creative team's 'unapologetic approach' to storytelling. They gained said powers after being injected with Compound V, a substance manufactured by Vought International. Earlier this year, Gen V's show runner Michele Fazekas and executive producer Eric Kripke said in an official statement 'Sophomore year is gonna be wild, with all the twists, heart, satire, and exploding genitalia you've come to expect from the show.'
