The Chase star Mark Labbett was forced to apologise to his co-stars on Beat The Chasers this evening after he made a huge blunder during the show's celebrity special
Mark Labbett, known as 'The Beast' on ITV 's The Chase, issued an apology to his co-stars during a celebrity special edition of Beat The Chasers. Actor Stephen Mangan tried his luck against the ITV Chasers but was caught out by them, with 19 seconds remaining. Despite this, he still managed to secure £1,000 for his chosen charity - Parents in Need.
Host Bradley Walsh noted that they still had plenty of time left on the clock, to which Labbett responded: "Yeah, I apologise to my teammates absolutely for a false start there," reports the Express. The audience gasped at the Chaser's harsh words, while Walsh laughed and said: "You know that's the way it goes." Viewers at home expressed disappointment that Mangan had been sent home. One Twitter user wrote: "I reckon Stephen actually knew a lot of those answers. Shame. #BeatTheChasers."
