The Chaser was so close to winning, but was left with just a second on his clock
This week on The Chase, viewers witnessed one of the show's most impressive victories to date, with two contestants taking home a staggering £100,000 prize.
In a crucial moment, host Bradley Walsh posed a question to Paul Sinha that could have changed the game: "Lesley Manville played the widow Cathy in what BBC sitcom?" Sinha incorrectly guessed Last of the Summer Wine, leading Bradley to interject with, "Stop the clock, that is wrong! " and pass the question to Karen and Ian.
With only one second remaining, Paul Sinha hastily answered his final question with "Green!", which was also incorrect. As the clock ran out, Karen and Ian were declared the winners, prompting Bradley to offer his condolences to Paul while Karen jubilantly exclaimed, "Yes!" The poser that clinched their fortune was: "What type of reptile is a jacky dragon?" and indeed it was a "lizard" the correct answer.
