The Chase 's Paul Sinha has criticised Monty Python star John Cleese for what he considers the "worst speech I've ever seen". The Chase 's 'The Sinnerman' recently spoke out about an address given by the Fawlty Towers legend at an awards ceremony.
Cleese has been known for his outspoken nature, having recently made remarks about his former Monty Python colleague Eric Idle. Idle tweeted earlier in 2024 that he hadn't seen Cleese for "seven years" and felt "happy" about the distance. Cleese retorted that this was an "invention", clarifying that Jim became the Python manager after the O2 show, but had since developed a health condition.
