Police responded to concerns for a Skegness woman’s safety hours before she was found dead.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct has confirmed that it has now completed an investigation into the woman’s death.They left after dealing with the incident and the woman was found dead later that morning.IOPC have now completed their investigation and their report is being finalise before being released.The IOPC has also finished its investigation into a stabbing in Lincoln following police conduct and found no indication of misconduct by police officers or staff.
“Our investigation considered the actions and decisions of officers in relation to two incidents involving the woman in the days preceding the stabbing, and their response to an abandoned 999 call and a call from the ambulance service on August 17.
