Dad 'tortured to death', the fraud doctor and violent ex: The criminals locked up in Greater Manchester in February
A fraudster who forged her qualifications and practised as a doctor across the UK for more than twenty years has been jailed in Greater Manchester this month.
She was found guilty of 20 offences including forgery, using a false instrument and fraud. On Tuesday , Alemi, of Plumbe Street, Burnley, was jailed for seven years. He struggled against the officers before running across the car park outside the flat. They were forced to restrain him on the floor and backup had to be called. He was eventually handcuffed and arrested.
He was tied up, stabbed and beaten for two hours as his killers ransacked his home in search of valuables, cash or drugs on Saturday, July 2 last year. Mr Campbell, a convicted drug dealer said to have played an 'integral' part in an organised crime gang, was left for dead in his hallway and discovered the next morning by a neighbour.
Ms Campbell, of Bamford Street, Clayton, Cleworth, of Charles Street, Heywood, and Steven, of Poplar Street, Middleton, were all also found guilty of conspiracy to rob. Arriving at his flat, she fell over before he escorted her upstairs where he took explicit photos and videos of her. During one video, in which she was bound at the hands and had a t-shirt around her neck, she told him she was in pain.
After the collision, Safiullah was taken to Manchester Children’s Hospital where he later died from his traumatic injuries. Jones, of Gorseyville Crescent on the Wirral, previously pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving. Following a trial, McGrath, of Gorton Road in Reddish, Stockport, was found guilty of the same offence.
He instructed her on how to run the business whilst he was inside, advised what drug equipment to get and informed her how much cash to pay into his bank account. She went onto establish a new cocaine supply business for when he was released. Using the handle 'NeverSayNever', dad-of-four Michael Doyle, 36, discussed prices and locations for picking up drugs and money, prosecution barrister Andy Scott told Manchester Crown Court. GMP also identified Doyle as the ringleader of the OCG, the court heard.

The court heard McElroy's Insignia was travelling between 49mph and 60mph at the time of the crash on December 5 last year.McElroy, from Oldham, was also treated for minor injuries at the scene, and initially gave a false name and claimed 'Dave from Broughton' had driven the car. “He restricted what she ate, broke her phone, told her she was a poor mother and said she was ‘mentally ill’, stating that her family and friends didn’t care for her,” prosecutor Hannah Forsyth said. The woman kept a diary of the abuse she was subjected to.

Saul Blackley, 33, Jordan Buckle, 24, and Adam Hodson, 36, all from Greater Manchester, were all involved in the burglary of the bike shop on Hollands Road in Northwich on August 5 last year.
