Suter may not get the point, but his efforts over 200 feet of ice help an offensive driver like Miller get extra touches over the course of the game. And if you give players like Miller and Boeser enough touches, it’s only a matter of time before they devastate the opposition. It’s somewhat ironic, actually, that Suter’s value is mostly derived from how he supports play and contributes on the cycle, given his penchant for cycling around his newfound home city.
