One Nottinghamshire holiday park has been named among the best in the UK - beating Center Parcs and Butlins in the process
The best, and worst, holiday parks in the UK have been announced, with one Nottinghamshire location beating the old favourites of Center Parcs and Butlins.
The Sherwood Forest holiday park is nestled in the heart of the 3,300 acres of woodland and is perfect for solo getaways, romantic trips, and group holidays - with one treehouse cabin available for up to ten guests. From archery and horse-riding to pottery painting and forest foraging, there's certainly something for everyone - and if you'd rather relax on your staycation, there's a hot tub in every cabin, and spa treatments available.
It was Pontins, with their two Somerset and Suffolk sites that had the unfortunate luck to finish last on the list.
