It was the doomed split second decision that led to SAS Australia star Stephanie Rice being taken off the show. During a gruelling challenge which saw all the SAS Australia recruits move through a course of physical activities, the Olympic swimming champ had been ordered to not participate in some exercises to protect an injured arm.
The doomed decision that forced SAS bosses to remove Steph Rice from the show In Wednesday night’s episode, Rice dislocated her shoulder during a combat challenge. And while she was permitted to stay on the SAS course after her injury was assessed by medics, she was told to take it easy. But during the challenge on Monday night’s show, SAS Australia Chief Instructor Ant Middleton was left reeling when Rice defied a specific instruction, putting herself at risk.
