ZeniMax Online Studios is making a significant change to The Elder Scrolls Online's content release schedule, moving away from annual Chapter expansions in favor of a new seasonal system. Starting in 2025, seasons will last between three and six months and include themed content, events, store items, dungeons, and more. This shift aims to provide more frequent content updates while allowing the team to focus on improving other aspects of the game, such as the base game's zones and the new user experience.
The Elder Scrolls Online is getting some massive changes in 2025, as ZeniMax is moving away from the yearly Chapter releases in favor of a Seasonal system. The current plan is to return to concurrency levels and experiment with a Campaign that supports PvP-specific skills for each class, which would replace the current skills, hopefully leading to more players being able to play in the Campaign.
