Next week’s free Epic Games Store titles will be Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition and Evoland Legendary Edition. They’ll replace ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove and Darkwood, which are currently free to download
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove is billed as “a mash-up of the best features from the classic console games with a ton of funky fresh improvements. Relive the original roguelike game with new 4 player online and local co-op, crazy Earthlings, weird presents and aliens from Funkotron”.
Survival horror game Darkwood sees players “explore a rich, ever-changing free-roam world by day, then hunker down in your hideout and pray for the morning light”. The Epic Games Store gave away 89 free titles last year , with a combined worth of $2,120. According to Epic, users claimed over 765 million free games in 2021.
