The five men targeted a house in the city with gunshots - with one firing shots, another acting as lookout and another acting as getaway driver, a court heard.
A jury heard Jamal fired the shots, 21, Arman Rashid, 20, was the lookout and joint organiser along with Mohammed Ahmed, 18, - and Rahman, 24, was the getaway driver. While Bilal Ahmed, 21, took a hatchet to a silver Audi car parked outside. Jamal, of Hill Top Avenue, Chapeltown, was jailed for six years and seven months, Bilal Ahmed, of Harold Terrace, Hyde Park, was jailed for seven years and seven months, Rahman, of Harehills Avenue, Harehills, was jailed for five and a half years.
Speaking after the sentencing, Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Lee Townley, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “I would like to thank the public for their support during this investigation and for the information that has been provided.
