The Family Chase sees record-breaking loss as Dark Destroyer beats family in less than 90 seconds

A family who clubbed together to take on The Chase will be probably living to regret their decision after breaking records for fastest team ever to lose the competition.

The Family Chase, a new spin-off of the much-loved ITV favourite, sees Bradley Walsh and the Quizmasters take on relatives as opposed to the tradition structure of a group of strangers. With more to lose than just the money, the Lawrence-Harish family rose to the challenge, but their efforts were so poor that even ever-positive Bradley was stunned to silence. After only two family members – Demi and Kerrie – managed to get into the final chase against The Dark Destroyer Shaun Wallace, they only managed to answer five questions correctly to get them ahead.

In the panic for the final round, Demi took the lead and attempted to answer most of the questions, as Kerrie froze beside her.
