The call ended with the words 'Oh my God'
A recording of the final words of Saqib Hussain in a desperate 999 call as he was followed along the A46 before his death was played at the trial of those convicted of his murder. Lasting just four minutes, the call ended with the words "Oh my God", which was followed by the sound of screaming and then a low bang and the call was cut off.
Leciestershire Live reports the conversation between Saqib and the police operator , which began at 1.28am on Friday, February 11, 2022, as the cars were all travelling up the A607 and the A46 out of Leicester. The crash happened near to the Six Hills junction north of the city, close to the Nottinghamshire border.
Former TikTok star Mahek Bukhari is among four people to be found guilty of murdering Saqib Hussain and Hashim Ijazuddin, while others were found guilty of their manslaughter .Mahek sobbed in the dock as the verdicts were delivered at Leicester Crown Court. The jury found she had led an operation to kill the men in revenge for victim Mr Hussain threatening to expose his affair with her mother, Ansreen.
