The First Omen arrives in theaters on April 5.

Summary The First Omen is a prequel to the original 1976 horror classic The Omen, setting up the horrifying tale that so many horror fans know. Margaret Daino is sent to Rome, where she will begin her life of service to the church, serving in an orphanage. However, an insidious darkness begins to invade her life and Margaret questions her faith.

Nell Tiger Free: I've always loved that movie because I'm a big horror fan. So I went back and rewatched it, and found it still scared me just as much today as it did when I was 11 years old, because that's when I first watched it. It stays with you that film. Nell Tiger Free: I can tell you she's a young American woman coming to Rome to become a nun, and she thinks she's going to have a lovely, wholesome time. And she does not. Things get weird pretty quickly.

Oh, you're in for a treat. We're coming up on the 20th anniversary of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy where you played Slartibartfast. How relevant do you think the themes of that story is today? Would you like to see that universe expand, and would you be open to reprising your role? The Omen is really known for its practical effects at the time. Can you talk about blending practical and digital effects this time around?

Obviously, by the time the original films happened, he's failed in that, so he's a little bit madder and a little bit more desperate. Hopefully, there's a bit more hope to my Father Brennan. Ralph Ineson: I think partially by the subject matter. There's a very famous shot - or what I think will be a famous shot, as there's been a lot of talk about it in censorship - of a vagina. I think turning some of the horror and the body horror to women gives us a different angle.

Talk to me about your character Sister Angelica a little bit. What can we expect from Sister Angelica? Keith Levine: What on paper could read rather stock or feel derivative. Arkasha just took it to another level. She pushed, I think, the images beyond what they were on the page and I think you can feel her fingerprints all over every scene in the film. Again, I think audiences aren't really ready for what they're going to get.

Keith Levine: Yeah, look, we would love to tell more stories in the universe and in the world. We have more planned if we get the opportunity, but first and foremost we want them to enjoy this film. Keith Levine: I'm hoping that they take away that sometimes you can work within IP, you can work at a studio, and you can push boundaries. You can do original stories within brands. That's what we were trying to do here. We are working in one of the bigger franchises in the horror genre, but we're also telling a new story and we're trying to push a little boundaries while doing it.

Imaginary was about an evil teddy bear named Chauncey. This one really blends religion and horror. Talk to me about the terrifying history of religion and horror and how that might scare you.
