The three-hour epic, directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Cillian Murphy, had its world premiere in Paris last night
The three-hour epic will tell the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the late American theoretical physicist who is credited as the "father of the atomic bomb" for his work on the Manhattan Project during World War II, and the subsequent bombings of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. While the cast of the film – including Cillian Murphy as the man himself, alongside Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr.
While the official reviews of the movie aren’t out just yet, critics and viewers at the premiere were free to tweet there first thoughts, and here’s a selection of their views.
