The two go on a date, bringing their dogs with them. Although they don't get along, their dogs that join them get along quite well...
Soon enough, Max learns that his pooch has gotten pregnant from the one afternoon in the park, and they decide to keep Nicole's dog around during the pregnancy to make it go as smoothly as possible. Along the way, the duo try to get their dogs to recreate the spaghetti scene from Lady in the Tramp, make a lot of co-parent jokes, and wind each other up.
As you'd absolutely expect, Max and Nicole end up bonding despite their differences and fall for each other. Will they admit their feelings and get together? Most likely, but let's pretend it could go either way.
