Telegraph View: The Government cannot fool the voters over Brexit
Theresa May’s speech in Grimsby yesterday was a waste of time. The Prime Minister rehearsed the case for her Withdrawal Agreement and urged MPs to vote for it on Tuesday, but the EU hasn’t given her the changes necessary to appease Brexiteers and it is still likely to be defeated. In fact, the political situation hasn’t altered since the Chequers agreement of July last year.
