The upcoming film stars Gosling as Court Gentry, aka the Gray Man, a freelance assassin and former CIA operative who was once a once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. “But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen , a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. While much remains unknown about de Armas’ character, a synopsis for the film reveals her name to be Agent Dani Miranda., director Joe Russo described Dani as an ally and a “responsible agent” who’s deeply loyal to her job at the CIA. Together, she and Six have to figure out whether they can trust one another.
“These are spies, and they’re trained liars,” director Joe Russo added. “They know how to lie very effectively. That was a wonderful process to work through with both Ana and Ryan.”And who, exactly, Page will play is also being kept somewhat under wraps. Netflix’s images show him sitting pensively in a dark room, dressed in a sharp suit, and he has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment in the new trailer so we can hazard a guess that he’s an agent of some kind.
