A beloved Glasgow pub that featured in the background of an iconic photo of Paul McCartney taken by his former wife Linda has recently reopened its doors to the public.

A legendary and historic Scottish pub that has a unique claim to fame has recently reopened its doors.

Camerons is famous for being featured in an iconic photograph of music legend Paul McCartney. Reportedly taken by his former wife Linda McCartney in 1970, the image shows The Beatles star smiling in front of the St Georges Road venue. Lost Glasgow posted the image on Facebook back in 2019, writing: "So, amongst the brilliant images in the Linda McCartney retrospective exhibition at Kelvingrove — a world first — there is this joyous image of Paul, with, I think, a kerry-oot. Taken in Glasgow, in 1970, en-route, I think, to Kintyre."
