Following the update’s release, it was claimed that the patch includes references for new maps and ray tracing support.“The latest update for Elden Ring adds menu strings related to ray tracing features,” tweeted modder Lance McDonald, who previously made a name for himself by releasing an unofficial patch that made From Software’s Bloodborne run at 60 frames per second on“The update also includes references to two new maps that do not yet otherwise exist in the game data,” he claimed.
