Renee Rapp, Avantika and Auli’i Cravalho had a Mean Girls reunion when they were all in attendance at the third annual Gold Gala in Los Angeles.
The cast of Mean Girls had a sweet reunion during the Gold Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday. Reneé Rapp, Avantika and Auli’i Cravalho were all in attendance for the event, which celebrated the 100 “most impactful Asian Pacific changemakers in culture and society.” The evening was filled with incredible performances, impactful presentations and of course, amazing fashion.
“It was an amazing opportunity to use not just a South Asian, but a specifically South Indian last name,” she said. “Opportunities for brown women in this industry are few and far from many, so we don’t really have the privilege of specificity. When you get the chance, you jump on it for your own people.” Reneé Rapp, who attended the event with Towa Bird, wore a denim corset, denim skirt and denim trench coat, while Bird wore a fitted red suit and snakeskin boots.
