The Boys continues to add more heroes into its universe in its fourth season, all slightly different, and all with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. Created through an injection of the mysterious Compound V, the superables across America strive to make their way into one particular prestigious and lucrative group of "heroes.
Ashley Barrett thought that his blindness would help improve The Seven's reputation and make them seem more inclusive, but his inability to do much other than hear threats and avoid them didn't impress Homelander, and Blindspot's position in the prestigious group was lost in classic brutal fashion thanks to Homelander.
In The Seven, she wields her far-right show to blindly champion Homelander and become a disturbing symbol of the show's sharp satire on media bias and political cults. Firecracker may not have the most impressive superpowers and she might only be a pawn to Sister Sage’s plans, but her tenacity to cozy up with Homelander could give her an edge — with her going so far as taking medication to satisfy Homelander’s kink.
His main drawback, however, is the fact he cannot use his abilities without the presence of fire in the nearby vicinity, often depicted with his lighter in hand. He also has the ability to recover quickly, as seen when he gets back to himself after a patient at the research center unleashes a healthy dose of acid vomit over him. There's not much else the former Seven member can do, however, and one of his weaknesses includes being vulnerable to his own flames.
An epiphany from The Boys occurs in Season 1 when they realize it's his skin that's protecting him, so they stuff him with explosives and Hughie detonates them, leaving Translucent as nothing but a gory gathering of blood and guts. That took a lot of planning and consideration to accomplish though, and not an idea many could pull off to stop him.
4 Sister Sage Played by Susan Heyward Sister Sage is one of the newest and most enigmatic members of The Seven in the TV series The Boys. Unlike many characters in the show, Sister Sage is not derived from the original comic books but is a creation exclusively for the television adaptation. Introduced in Season 4, Sage was sought out by Homelander , who personally invited her to join The Seven and orchestrate a plan to make supes the supreme beings on earth.
