The Minecraft Movie’s First Trailer Proves That Some Things Were Not Meant to Be Rendered Realistically

Warner Bros. Minecraft movie looks square, but somehow yet not square enough.

From the look of things, Hollywood’s spin on the wildly popular sandbox game will be very reminiscent of 2017’s Jumanji, only this time with Jack Black playing the semi-feral guide who’s been stuck in the matrix too long. Instead of the fantasy-jungle setting, however, our heroes find themselves surrounded by realistically-rendered building block-shaped horrors of‘s overworld.
